PRAYAGRAJ, July 8 -- An 18-year-old Class 11 student died after coming into contact with an overhead high-tension power line while watering the newly constructed roof of a toilet at his house in Pratapgarh district on Tuesday morning, police said. The incident took place in Balipur Jagapur village under Maheshganj police station limits. The deceased has been identified as Anoop alias Raj Yadav. SHO Sandeep Kumar Tiwari said the family did not seek any legal action and declined a post-mortem. A 35-year-old mason was found hanging from a neem tree in Pratapgarh on Tuesday. The man, who had returned from Prayagraj five days ago, worked as a mason installing tiles and stone. His wife has filed a complaint naming some relatives, alleging they murdered him and staged it as a suicide. Police said the case is under investigation.HTC...
