LUCKNOW, May 22 -- The UP Special Task Force (STF) has arrested an interstate gang operative carrying a reward of Rs.1 lakh, who is accused in multiple cases of murder, dacoity, robbery and cattle theft across UP and Madhya Pradesh, officials said in a press note on Thursday. The accused, identified as Kalua alias Kalia of Kasganj district, was arrested from beneath a railway bridge, near Hathi Ghat, along the Yamuna riverbank in Agra's Chhatta area on Wednesday evening. STF officials said Kalua had been absconding in connection with a case registered at Mallawan police station in Hardoi district and had emerged as a key member of an organised gang allegedly involved in violent crimes. htc...
