New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Calcutta High Court to expeditiously hear a TMC plea challenging removal of a billboard atop party general secretary Abhishek Banerjee's Kolkata office without notice. A bench, comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana, refused to interfere with the high court's August 28 order denying interim relief, saying its observations were "tentative" as the matter remained pending.
