LUCKNOW, March 23 -- The Eid ul Fitr Namaz was offered across mosques in Lucknow on Saturday, with the biggest congregation of around five lakh people taking place at Aishbagh Eidgah under the leadership of Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali. Following the prayers, special supplications were offered for peace and tranquility across the globe, and for an end to all wars and conflicts. On this occasion, a large delegation of political figures and religious leaders visited the Eidgah to extend their Eid greetings.
