LUCKNOW, Oct. 14 -- UP government employees who are registered voters in the graduate and teachers' constituencies of the Legislative Council will be granted special casual leave on October 23 to cast their votes. Chief electoral officer Navdeep Rinwa said polling for the 2026 biennial elections to five graduate and six teachers' constituencies would be held on the day. The graduate constituencies are Lko, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut and Allahabad-Jhansi, while the teachers' constituencies are Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Bareilly-Moradabad and Gkp-Faizabad.
