LUCKNOW, Sept. 30 -- Senior Samajwadi Party leaders Harendra Malik and Mohibullah Nadvi are likely to represent the party at the INDIA bloc meeting to discuss the controversy surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls scheduled in Delhi on Wednesday, according to party insiders. Earlier, SP president Akhilesh Yadav had said that he would not be attending the meeting as he would be occupied with organisational responsibilities in Lucknow. Yadav is expected to oversee the nomination process of senior leader Ram Gopal Yadav. Following the nomination, he will participate in a Kisan Sammelan at the party headquarters. Sources said the SP's representation reflects the party's commitment to the Opposition alliance's deliberations on electoral issues while ensuring key internal programmes continue uninterrupted.
