Lucknow, Sept. 17 -- The Samajwadi Party on Wednesday appointed new district presidents in six districts of Uttar Pradesh. An official appointment letter issued from the party's central office in New Delhi named Sunil Kumar Maurya as the new district president of Ballia. Umesh Mohalla has been given charge of Banda district, while Jay Singh has been appointed district president of Ayodhya. In Pilibhit, Dharmesh Gangwar has been named the new district chief. Inder Pradhan, also known as Indrajeet Bhati, will head the organisation in Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Jaychandra Vimal has been appointed district president of Unnao.
