KANPUR, April 29 -- An aged man Ramsanehi Pal (70) was hacked to death with an axe by two of his sons while he slept at his home in Arrapahadpur village under Maudarvaza police station in Farrukhabad early Tuesday. One of the sons, Omkar, has been taken into custody, while the other, Anil, is absconding, police said. The murder is believed to have been triggered by a property dispute. Ramsanehi had recently transferred four bighas of roadside agricultural land to his nephews, reportedly angering his sons.
