Pune/Nashik, April 22 -- Six men facing separate offences in connection to the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)-Nashik business process outsourcing (BPO) case have approached court seeking bail, officials said on Tuesday. Danish Shaikh and Tausif Attar have filed bail applications in connection with a case registered at Deolali Police Station. Shaikh is accused of allegedly luring a junior female colleague on the pretext of marriage and engaging in a sexual relationship with her, while Attar has been accused of sexual harassment. Attar's defence counsel, Baba Sayyed, confirmed the duo has moved court for bail. The matter is scheduled to be heard on May 2. Sayyed added that separately, five accused in one of the eight cases registered at Mumbai Naka Police Station also filed a bail application on April 20. A court is expected to hear the plea on April 28. The five - Raza Memon, Shafi Shaikh, Attar, Asif Ansari and Shahrukh Qureshi - are accused of sexual harassment and hurting religious sentiments. Police have so far arrested seven accused in the Nashik case pertaining to alleged sexual abuse, harassment and religious coercion at the workplace.
