LUCKNOW, June 3 -- Shaurya Pratap Singh and Anayika won golden doubles in the Hemlata Pathak Memorial Open District Badminton Tournament, at the Excellia School here on Tuesday. Whereas Shaurya defeated Aditya Singh 15-11, 15-12 in the men's singles final, Anayika came from behind to beat Prashasti Sharma 10-15, 15-14, 15-7 in the women's singles final. In the men's doubles final, Shaurya while pairing with Shivam Joshi defeated the duo of Moksh and Aditya 15-10, 15-12. In the women's doubles, Anayika and Prashasti asserted their dominance by defeating Shachi and Amishi 8-15, 15-14, 15-14. In the Senior Mixed Doubles final, the pair of Shivam Joshi and Aparna Singh defeated Shivangi Verma and Shreya Sagar 15-11, 15-11. The boys under-11 singles title went to Abhijay, who defeated Siddharth in a tough match by 11-15, 15-11, 15-8. In the girls under-11 singles final, Kimaya claimed the trophy by defeating Anvika 15-5, 15-5. On the other hand, in the final of the under-11 boys doubles category, the pair of Siddharth and Tej Pratap Singh defeated Shivam Verma and Yasharth Singh 15-14, 4-15, 15-8....
