LUCKNOW, March 16 -- The duo of Shankar Chatterjee of Prayagraj and Naveen Kumar of Muzaffarnagar won the RN Singhal Bridge Pairs Championship here on Sunday, achieving 183.54 victory points. The pair of HS Dua and Vikas Mohan of Kanpur finished in second place with 180.71 VP, whereas Sushil Agarwal of Prayagraj and AK Sinha of Lucknow claimed third place with 173.51 VP. The fourth position was secured by Amar Bose and Sunil Kumar of Varanasi, who obtained 171.43 VP. The tournament consisted of 15 rounds played across four boards. The competition was directed by Shantanu Rastogi and Gajendra Singh. CAL Giants secured a massive 241-run victory over CAL Fighters, thanks to a powerful and explosive century by captain Arnav Kumar Singh in the Rohit Chaturvedi Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament here on Sunday. Batting first in the 25-over contest, CAL Giants posted 327/8. Captain Arnav Kumar Singh smashed an unbeaten 186 in 65 balls, hitting 15 fours and 18 sixes in the process. In reply, CAL Fighters were bundled out for a mere 86 runs in just 17.4 overs.
