Dehradun, July 31 -- A 57-year-old seer was arrested in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district for allegedly stealing a gem-studded gold crown of Lord Narayana worth around Rs.5 lakh and cash from an ashram near Badrinath Dham, police said on Thursday. The accused, identified as Raghavram Pathak alias Raghavdas, a resident of Munimpur village in UP's Shravasti district, was nabbed on Wednesday from Badrish Ganga Vatika gate on the Hanumanchatti road, an officer said.
