PRAYAGRAJ, April 15 -- Allahabad high court has granted bail to key accused Pooja Shakun Pandey in the high-profile Abhishek Gupta murder case in Aligarh. Pandey, also known as Annapurna Bharti, was a former Mahamandaleshwar of Niranjani Akhara and the former national secretary of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal on Monday allowed the bail application filed by Pandey. The court directed the accused to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation and trial proceedings. The case pertains to the murder of Abhishek Gupta, a bike showroom owner, who was shot dead on September 26, 2025. The incident had drawn widespread public attention.
