LUCKNOW, Sept. 5 -- The security of the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya will be further strengthened with upgrades on the lines of Operation Sindoor, including drone surveillance. This decision was taken at a meeting of the temple's security committee on Thursday.
Officials emphasised that advanced technology is being installed to counter emerging threats as the Ram temple nears completion. A proposal outlining the requirement for high-tech security equipment was finalised, and this will be sent to the UP government for approval, they said.
By adopting similar security measures, the temple aims to ensure a safe environment for devotees. "The security committee's efforts reflect the importance of protecting cultural and religious sites from potential threats," said Champat Rai, general secretary, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Before the meeting, members of the committee visited the Ram Janmabhoomi for inspection.
