LUCKNOW, Nov. 4 -- The Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025 began in Sarojininagar with students from various schools participating. As part of the event, the Football Championship 2025 was inaugurated at CMS Jai Jagat Ground, Kanpur Road, under the guidance of Rajya Sabha MP and former deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma and the leadership of MLA Rajeshwar Singh. The event marks the eighth edition of the Sarojini Nagar Sports League. The competition includes inter-school and inter-club championships in football, cricket, and basketball. In all, 20 school teams and 21 club teams are participating this year. The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs.50,000, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs.25,000. Sharma said, "Sport fosters coordination and promotes harmony.
