LUCKNOW, April 3 -- Lucknow University's centralised admission system through the SAMARTH portal for affiliated colleges was approved on Thursday. Under the centralised admission scheme, the admissions will be conducted for courses run by Lucknow University and affiliated colleges in Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri. The affiliated colleges can get their seats filled in various courses through centralised admission scheme by depositing admission participation fee to the university, said an office order issued by LU registrar Bhavna Mishra. The affiliated private and self-financed colleges wishing to get their students enrolled in courses offered through centralised admission system can pay prescribed fee through RTGD/NEFT by May 31. The prescribed fee for professional courses is Rs 1,50,000 for up to two courses, with an additional Rs 75,000 for each course beyond two and Rs 1,00,000 for up to two courses with an additional fee of Rs 50,000 beyond two and additional 18% GST applied to the fee for both sections. htc...
