LUCKNOW, Sept. 26 -- International trade engagements set the tone for the inaugural day of the fourth UP International Trade Show (UPITS-2026) on Friday with Russia and Vietnam emerging as key attractions. A special Russia-India business dialogue on "Russia-India: New Opportunities in Trade, Investment and Economic Cooperation" was organised to expand bilateral trade, explore new investment avenues and deepen industrial and technological collaboration. Trade commissioner of Russian Trade Representation in India Andrei Sobolev and deputy trade commissioner Dr Yevgeny Griva, along with senior representatives, participated in the dialogue. Russia's exhibition highlighted its industrial and technical capabilities, including industrial technology and gas, lab and diagnostic solutions, medical oxygen systems and business services. Vietnam's participation was another major attraction on first day.
