India, Sept. 24 -- Princess of Wales Kate Middleton joined Prince William, 44, at the London premiere of Hollywood star Tom Cruise's Digger on Tuesday. The event was the 73rd Royal Film Performance, held in support of The Film and TV Charity. Kate, 44, wore a rich plum Jenny Packham gown featuring a plunging neckline, ruched waist and sweeping skirt, paired with the Queen Mother's 103-year-old Amethyst Sautoir necklace and pearl drop earrings that belonged to Princess Diana. The necklace was gifted to the future Queen Mother by Queen Alexandra in 1923, while the earrings were a wedding gift to Diana in 1981. The outing marked the royal couple's first joint film premiere in more than four years, following their appearance with Cruise, 64, at the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022.
