Lucknow, May 13 -- A 74-year-old retired police sub-inspector died during treatment after a Tempo Traveller allegedly hit his motorcycle in Lucknow's PGI area on Monday late night, police said on Tuesday. "The deceased has been identified as Vasudev Yadav, a resident of Babukheda under PGI police station limits. According to police, the accident took place around 9.15pm near a cut in front of Harikansh Garhi outpost when Yadav was travelling from PGI towards Mohanlalganj on his motorcycle," stated a Lucknow police press note. Police said a Traveller coming from behind rammed the motorcycle, leaving Yadav critically injured. Local residents alerted the police, following which officers rushed to the spot and shifted him to Trauma Centre-2 at SGPGI with the help of an ambulance.htc...
