LUCKNOW, Sept. 25 -- Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Thursday thanked chief minister Yogi Adityanath for launching the Lucknow Development Authority's (LDA) Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar township projects, saying the initiatives would accelerate Lucknow's planned expansion and create new opportunities for housing and employment, stated a press release. Yogi launched the two LDA schemes during a programme in Sarojini Nagar, where the authority also launched and laid the foundation stones for five multi-storey residential projects. Singh said Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar would go beyond providing housing and would strengthen Lucknow's planned urban expansion by adding residential facilities, infrastructure and better connectivity. He also thanked the CM for announcing connectivity plans linked to the projects. Yogi said the government would develop four-lane connectivity towards Naimisharanya and improve connectivity between Varun Vihar and the Purvanchal Expressway.
