rajasthan: Jalore man held in RPSC dummy candidate case
Jaipur, Sept. 2 -- Ajmer police have arrested a 30-year-old Jalore resident from Jaisalmer after he allegedly evaded arrest for nearly 30 months in a dummy candidate case linked to the RPSC Senior Teacher Recruitment Examination 2022.
The accused, identified as Narendra of Sanchore, allegedly arranged for another person to appear in his place in the Social Science paper. Police had announced a reward of Rs.5,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Special team in-charge Shankar Singh Rawat said Narendra frequently changed his hideouts.
A case was registered against him in 2024 under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022, and relevant sections of the IPC. Four people have already been arrested in the case....
