Jaipur, Sept. 28 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in parts of Rajasthan over the next two days, even as most parts of the state are likely to remain dry for the following five to six days. According to the Met department, the depression over Uttar Pradesh has weakened and is now lying as a well-marked low-pressure area over central parts of Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. A fresh western disturbance is also present over northwest India and adjoining areas. Under influence of these systems, some parts of districts in Bikaner, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions are likely to get light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and winds reaching 40-50 kmph on September 27 and 28.
