PRAYAGRAJ, June 28 -- Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is expected to visit Prayagraj on July 19 to interact with students as part of the party's nationwide "Chhatron Ki Goonj" outreach campaign, Congress national secretary and Eastern Zone in-charge Rajesh Tiwari said on Saturday. Tiwari said preparations for the programme are underway, with thousands of students from across the region expected to attend. He added that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi may also join Rahul Gandhi, along with other senior party leaders. According to Tiwari, the event aims to express solidarity with students affected by issues such as the alleged NEET examination paper leak and other challenges faced by competitive examination aspirants. The campaign seeks to raise concerns over examination-related stress, financial burdens and alleged irregularities in the recruitment and examination system.
