India, Aug. 21 -- Photographers in the state capital paid tribute to ace lensman Raghu Rai, who passed away on April 26 this year. During an exhibition underway at Kala Strot Art Gallery, organised by The Youth Photojournalist Associ-ation, they displayed iconic works by the Padma Shri awardee, including the famous Bhopal Gas Tragedy photo. More than 70 photographers participated in the group exhibition, which captured diverse aspects of life, including cities and villages, nature, culture, social issues, human emotions and everyday experiences. Works by young and experienced lensmen found a place in the exhibition, which saw visitors across age groups. A two-day All-India Photo Exhibition was also organised by the College of Arts Photographic Society (CAPS), inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Brajesh Pathak in the presence of legislator Dr Neeraj Bora, Lucknow University vice-chancellor Prof JP Saini and College of Art and Crafts principal Ratan Kumar. The exhibition features 155 selected photographs by 80 participants from across the country. Sachin Verma from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Rae Bareili, conducted a Fashion Photography Workshop, while Tanushree Srivastava led a workshop on photo lighting....
