LUCKNOW, May 14 -- Rachnatmak Congress (formerly the outreach cell of the Congress) will work to connect with people and issues in Uttar Pradesh to strengthen the party, said Sandeep Dikshit, national chairman of the Rachnatmak Congress, here on Wednesday. It is a platform that engages with civil society groups, domain experts, and groups outside the Congress. "Rachnatmak Congress department will play a crucial role for the upcoming assembly elections. We will work to connect with like-minded social organisations, communities, and activist groups situated outside the Congress party fold," Dikshit, a former MP, said at a press conference. Asked about the Congress's alliance with the Samajwadi Party for the upcoming 2027 elections, he said, "It will be decided according to the strategy we need for elections. Alliance is actually being decided state-wise and, in UP too, it will be followed." "The work by the Rachnatmak Congress in Madhya Pradesh has given results," he said.
