Public participation biggest driver of development: Rajeshwar Singh
LUCKNOW, July 12 -- Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Saturday held 'Chai Par Charcha' with party workers and residents of Ram Chaura village in Banthra under the Sarojini Nagar division.
Interacting with what he described as the "Sarojini Nagar family", comprising party workers and local residents, Singh said the suggestions, trust and affection of the people had reinforced his belief that public participation is the biggest driving force behind development.
Singh announced the distribution of sarees to around 350 ASHA workers in the constituency.
He also distributed saplings to Shakti Kendra coordinators, reaffirming his dcommitment to environmental conservation.
The MLA said his vision extended beyond the execution of development projects and was aimed at ensuring opportunities, education, dignity and self-reliance for every household.
He highlighted several initiatives undertaken in the constituency, including bicycles and laptops for meritorious students, digital classrooms for youth, tailoring training centres for women's empowerment, beautification of places of worship and installation of streetlights wherever required.
Singh said the people of Sarojininagar were his greatest strength and that their affection, trust and blessings continued to inspire him in his public service....
