Protest in House exposes SP's true face, says Pathak
LUCKNOW, Aug. 5 -- Attacking the Samajwadi Party's protest in the assembly on Tuesday over the alleged theft of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said the SP's true face has once again been exposed before the people of Uttar Pradesh.
"The legislative assembly, a democratic forum where meaningful discussions and solutions on public issues are expected, was once again turned into a political battleground by SP leaders. Instead of upholding the dignity of the House, they chose the path of chaos and disruption," he said in a statement.
"It is extremely unfortunate that the Samajwadi Party sought to politicise an issue related to the Shri Ram Temple, which is a matter of faith for millions of people across the country," Pathak added.
"The Samajwadi Party's dream of returning to power in 2027 is set to be shattered once again, and that is why its leaders have resorted to disorder and disruption. The people of Uttar Pradesh want development and good governance, not chaos," he said.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party government is working with full commitment towards the agenda of public welfare, development and good governance. Protecting the dignity of the House and upholding democratic traditions is a collective responsibility of all of us," the deputy CM said. htc...
