LUCKNOW, Nov. 4 -- With the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections due early next year, Uttar Pradesh Congress has stepped up its organisational preparations, finalising the proposed state executive and names for key election-related committees during a meeting with party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in New Delhi on Tuesday. The exercise is aimed at putting the party's election machinery in place well ahead of the polls and give its poll plan a push, focusing on shaping its manifesto, planning campaign strategies and strengthening public outreach. The committees for which names were discussed included manifesto committee and campaign committee that will work upon various election campaigns including public campaigns, social media and outreach. "Detailed discussion were held upon various aspects for the upcoming assembly poll.
