Prayagraj placed 18th in UP for Jan IGRS ranking
PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 12 -- The Prayagraj district has secured the 18th position in Uttar Pradesh for the disposal of complaints registered under the IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) for January 2026. According to official data, the district scored 132 out of 140 points, reflecting strong collective performance by all departments involved.
District magistrate, Prayagraj Manish Kumar Verma congratulated the entire team for this achievement.
He added that the district would continue its efforts to ensure quality, timely and priority based disposal of public grievances. The DM also praised the additional district magistrate (City) Satyam Mishra, who serves as the Nodal Officer for IGRS, along with the entire team, for helping the district achieve the 18th rank.
Terming the performance remarkable, the DM said the ranking reflects the team's dedication, transparency and efficient work style. He noted that the timely and responsible functioning of all officers and employees helped the district earn this position, and strict action was taken against officials who were found negligent in their duties.
He also emphasised that regular monitoring played a key role in ensuring better and high quality disposal of complaints. The district's score of 132 out of 140 points in January is a direct result of the team's coordinated efforts....
