LUCKNOW, June 30 -- The electricity demand in Lucknow remained close to this month's record level over the weekend, amid rising residential and commercial demand. Official data showed the city's peak load reached 2,310.98 MVA (MegaVolt-Ampere) (1,803.75 MW) on June 27, just 21.06 MVA short of the all-time high of 2,332.04 MVA recorded on June 18.
