Police telecom recruits hail transparent hiring process
LUCKNOW, April 29 -- Successful candidates in the Uttar Pradesh Police telecommunications wing have welcomed their appointments, praising the recruitment process as transparent and free from corruption, on Tuesday.
At a ceremony held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, 936 head operators and head operators (mechanical) received appointment letters.
Speaking after the event, they said the hiring process was conducted with fairness and integrity, ensuring opportunities for deserving candidates.
Mahima Yadav from Prayagraj termed the large-scale direct recruitment a "major opportunity" for youth, adding that the entire process was completed with transparency. Kushal Chauhan from Etah said receiving the appointment letter in the chief minister's presence was a moment of pride.
Saurabh Mishra, also from Prayagraj, said the government's zero-tolerance policy against crime over the past nine years has strengthened policing capacity and resources, helping curb criminal activities.
Women candidates highlighted improvements in safety and law and order. Aditi Rathore from Prayagraj said women feel significantly more secure now due to swift police response and stricter enforcement. Shalu Gupta from Gorakhpur and Sapna Pandey from Ayodhya echoed similar views, expressing gratitude for fair recruitment practices.
