Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- On the occasion of the Milad-un-Nabi (Barawafat), joint commissioner of police (law & order), Babloo Kumar, said the police and administration have made extensive arrangements to ensure peace and smooth conduct of the historic procession taken out from the Old City. He said that people from different regions will gather in Lucknow for the traditional procession, which will pass through the entire city. "For the past five days, our officials have been implementing sector and journal schemes. Meetings have been held at the level," Kumar said. The JCP added that nearly 15 additional SPs, 50 deputy SPs, over 2,000 police personnel, 10 companies of PAC and 2 companies of RAF are being deployed in the western zone alone.
