Police crack interstate loot gang linked to multiple city crimes
Lucknow, June 1 -- Lucknow Police on Sunday claimed to have busted an interstate loot and snatching gang allegedly involved in a series of crimes across the city, arresting seven accused following action in Krishna Nagar. The development came amid an intensified drive against street crime after CM Yogi reviewed law and order in city. According to ADCP South Vasanth Rallapalli, gang, led by Rohan alias Guddu and Sahil of Delhi, is suspected to be involved in multiple incidents in the city's south zone.
According to ACP Krishna Nagar Rajneesh Verma the accused allegedly opened fire following which both were apprehended with leg injuries. Their interrogation led to arrest of five more gang members.
