LUCKNOW, June 3 -- Uttar Pradesh chief secretary SP Goyal and director general of police Rajeev Krishna on Tuesday directed officials to ensure foolproof arrangements for the upcoming police constable recruitment examination, a state government press release read. The written examination for recruitment to 32,679 constable civil police and equivalent posts will be held on June 8, 9 and 10 in all 75 districts. Reviewing preparations through a video-conference with divisional commissioners, district magistrates and senior police officers, the officials directed strict compliance with security protocols and recruitment board guidelines. A total of 28,86,797 candidates have applied for the recruitment drive.
