Plumber held in connection with teen's death at hosp
LUCKNOW, Oct. 5 -- PGI police arrested a 37-year-old plumber at a dental hospital on Sunday in connection with the death of a 15-year-old boy, who was allegedly beaten after being accused of stealing copper pipes from an air-conditioning unit, police said.
"The accused, identified as Subhash Chandra, a resident of Bachhrawan in Rae Bareli, had been working as a plumber at the dental hospital since 2008," police said in a statement.
During questioning, Chandra allegedly told police that he and others caught the boy stealing a copper pipe from an AC unit on September 30 and assaulted him in anger, police said.htc...
