PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 28 -- Dhoomanganj police recorded the statements of the parents of the lawyer wife of a sub-inspector who died by suicide by hanging in her Mundera apartment on September 19 night. Her parents alleged dowry harassment by her husband, a sub-inspector. Police are examining call detail records, CCTV footage and other evidence. The post-mortem report attributed the death to hanging. The woman's father said she spoke to her mother before her death and claimed her husband informed the family about the death at around 11.48pm.
