Over 4.6 lakh candidates to appear for UPESSC lecturer examinations
Lucknow/Prayagraj, May 9 -- The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, will conduct the Lecturer cadre written examination for 624 posts across 18 subjects on May 9 and 10. A total of 4,64,605 candidates have registered for the examination, which will be held in two shifts daily at 319 centres across 17 districts.
Commission chairman Prashant Kumar reviewed preparations and said all centres have been equipped with AI-based CCTV surveillance linked to district control rooms and the Commission's Integrated Control Command Room.
Observers have been deployed in every district, while district administrations and police teams will monitor centres continuously. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets will be prohibited.
The Commission said suspicious applications identified through AI technology would remain under special surveillance. A pilot project for scanning OMR sheets immediately after examinations will also be introduced at 10 centres in the Lucknow division....
