Lucknow, Sept. 3 -- NTPC's Northern Region headquarters will host the Lucknow regional round of its flagship Electron Quiz 2026-27 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on September 5. The quiz, themed "The World of Business Management", will bring together engineering and management students from reputed institutions across Uttar Pradesh. Each team will comprise two members. The competition is being organised at nine regional locations: Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Noida. The winning team in the regional round will receive Rs.60,000, while the runners-up and third-placed teams will get Rs.40,000 and Rs.20,000, respectively. Teams securing fourth to sixth positions will receive Rs.8,000 each. The top two teams from the Lucknow round will qualify for the national semi-finals. The top two teams from each semi-final will advance to the national finals at NTPC's Power Management Institute in Noida. The semi-finals and finals are scheduled for October 7 and 8, respectively. At the national level, the winning team will receive Rs.1 lakh, while the second and third-placed teams will get Rs.60,000 and Rs.40,000, respectively. Teams finishing fourth to sixth will receive Rs.16,000 each, while the remaining 12 finalist teams will get Rs.8,000 each.
