LUCKNOW, Sept. 4 -- Lucknow reported nine new Influenza A (H1N1) cases on Thursday, even as four previously hospitalised patients recovered and were discharged, taking the district's total number of active cases to 43. Of the nine new patients, two have been admitted to hospitals, while seven are undergoing home isolation. Dr NB Singh, chief medical officer, said patients with severe symptoms such as high fever with chest pain, loss of consciousness, low blood pressure, breathlessness, bluish discolouration of nails or blood in sputum should undergo RT-PCR testing and be hospitalised as required, a press release shared with the media read. Patients with mild symptoms, including fever, cold, sore throat and cough, do not require RT-PCR testing and have been advised to stay home, take adequate rest and follow medical advice, it stated....
