LUCKNOW, March 19 -- A series of fairs, exhibitions, dialogues and employment and felicitation programmes will be organised across Uttar Pradesh till March 26 to mark nine years of the Yogi Adityanath government ("Nav Nirman Ke 9 Varsh"), according to an official statement issued on Wednesday. The events to be held at the state headquarters and in all districts aim to showcase the government's achievements, welfare schemes and development works over the past nine years. Through these programmes, the general public will be made aware of the achievements, public welfare schemes and development works of the past nine years, the statement said. On the occasion, a special short film based on 'Nav Nirman Ke 9 Varsh' will be screened and a development booklet will also be released. All departments will set up exhibitions at the district level, showcasing the achievements, schemes and development works of 11 years of the central government and nine years of the state government. A special exhibition of foundation stones of projects launched in the district will also be organised. The nine-day programme will include thematic discussions focusing on youth, women, farmers and workers. Farmer conferences will emphasise strengthening the rural economy through animal husbandry and breed improvement, while public feedback will also be sought to support long-term development planning. In urban areas, events under Mission Vyapari Kalyan will feature beneficiary outreach programmes, including loan and toolkit distribution, as well as felicitation ceremonies for traders and small entrepreneurs. These will cover schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Start-up Yojana, One District One Product scheme and Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. Distinguished individuals from various fields will be honoured during the events, with their success stories showcased to inspire youth. The programmes will also aim to identify and connect eligible beneficiaries to welfare schemes, including pensions, entrepreneurship initiatives and health and social security programmes.
