PRAYAGRAJ, July 27 -- The North Central Railway (NCR) has expanded its On Board Housekeeping Service (OBHS) to all 64 pairs of its long-distance trains, ensuring continuous onboard cleanliness and hygiene from the originating station to the destination. The initiative is aimed at providing passengers with a cleaner and more comfortable travel experience by extending housekeeping beyond station halts. Under the OBHS, dedicated housekeeping personnel remain onboard throughout the journey to regularly clean coaches, toilets, washbasins, and doorways, collect garbage, and attend to passengers' cleanliness-related complaints while the train is in motion. NCR chief PRO Dr Shivam Sharma said the expanded service would ensure end-to-end cleanliness and enhance passenger comfort throughout the journey.htc...
