NBRI Summer Plant Science fest ends
LUCKNOW, April 17 -- A two-day Summer Plant Science Festival consisting of various competitions such as digital photography, oral presentations, and poster presentations, with participation from around 200 research scholars of CSIR - National Botanical Research Institute culminated on Thursday.
The valedictory session was presided over by Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla. He distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. In his address, he spoke about the beauty of Earth as seen from space and stressed the importance of valuing the planet.
"The objective of science and research should be to find solutions to the challenges faced by humanity. There is a need to foster scientific temperament among youth, and science must be made more interesting to attract the younger generation. In order to elevate India to greater heights, we must raise our aspirations accordingly. There should be no limits to the sky-not for me, not for you, and not for India," said Shukla....
