Bahraich, Aug. 19 -- An accused arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act escaped from the premises of Dargah police station in Bahraich on Monday. The accused was reportedly being prepared to be produced before a court when he fled. The Dargah police had arrested Rafiq and Vishal with narcotics. While the police were completing formalities to produce the duo in court on Monday, Vishal took advantage of the situation and escaped.
