LUCKNOW, June 8 -- Doctors and specially abled individuals showcased their talents at the Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium during 'Charasaz' (Season 2), an event organised by the Bandhavi Foundation and Sahas Sports Trust in collaboration with Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya on Sunday. Sudha Bajpai, president of the Bandhavi Foundation, said that this was the second edition of 'Charasaz'. She noted that the initiative aims to provide specially abled individuals with a prominent platform to showcase their talents, while also bringing to light the artistic abilities of doctors. Visually-impaired singer Swara set a soulful tone for the evening with her renditions of 'Mujhko Sunna Hai' and 'Ik Pyar Ka Nagma Hai, Maujon Ki Rawani Hai'. Following her, Dr Ashish Mathur took the audience down memory lane with evergreen classics like 'Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Karenge' and 'Tere Mere Sapne Ab Ek Rang Hain'. Dr Anand Ojha, former Director of the Civil Hospital, left the audience spellbound with his performance of the famous song 'Ae Meri Zohra Zabeen' from the movie Waqt. Besides, Dr Alok Dixit won applause for 'Chhupana Bhi Nahi Aata, Jatana Bhi Nahi Aata' and 'Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain', while Dr Rajesh Singh performed 'Tauba Yeh Matwali Chaal'. Dr Nidhi Niranjan sang 'Aage Bhi Jaane Na Too', Dr Sachin performed 'Ankhiyaan Sang Ankhiyaan Lagi Aaj', and Dr Samar captivated the crowd with 'Aao Tumko Dikhlata Hoon Paris Ki Ek Rangeen Shaam'. The duet performances added to the charm of the evening. Dr Anand Ojha and Swara captivated the audience with renditions of 'Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein Dil Lene Waale' and 'Kitna Pyara Wada Hai', while Dr Anand teamed up with Dr Nidhi Niranjan to deliver a lively performance of 'Sawan Ka Maheena Pawan Kare Shor', earning enthusiastic applause from the gathering.
