Murder plot hatched month before property dealer's killing
LUCKNOW, Sept. 8 -- The murder of property dealer Dhirendra Pratap Singh was allegedly planned nearly a month before he was abducted and killed on August 29, with his driver and two others involved in the conspiracy, police said, citing the interrogation of an accused arrested in the case. Jai Kishan Sharma, carrying a Rs.50,000 reward, was arrested by the STF and Lucknow police near Sector 10 crossing in Sushant Golf City on Sunday. During questioning, he allegedly told investigators that his elder brother, Ravi Kishan Sharma, Dhirendra's driver, had planned the murder and involved Jai Kishan and his own wife, Pooja.
