PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 30 -- A 25-year-old man and his mother died of electrocution inside their house in Pratapgarh on Friday evening. According to reports, Saransh Pratap Singh, son of Piyush Pratap Singh of Tejgarh market under Lilapur police station limits, was trying to switch off the MCB after a power cut when he was electrocuted. His mother, Vidyotma (52), rushed to rescue him but was also electrocuted. Family members and neighbours rushed the duo to the medical college, where doctors declared them dead.
