More static magistrates to be deployed at 18 sensitive centres
Agra, Feb. 14 -- Extra static magistrates will be deployed at 18 highly sensitive examination centres identified in Agra district for UP Board exams which are to begin from February 18.
Having 154 examination centres, Agra district has been demarcated into 6 zones, each having zonal magistrate and 15 sectors with a sector magistrate. Beside this, 172 static magistrates are to be there till March 12 when examination ends.
District magistrate Agra Arvind Mallappa Bangari instructed the concerned zonal and sector magistrates to remain mobile at assigned examination centres to ensure restriction on use of any sort of unfair means and to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of examinations.
An Examination Control Room has been established at the office of District Inspector of Schools in Agra. Any untoward incident is to be reported to the control room to ensure compliance of provisions of Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 1998 as amended up to date.
Sector Magistrates are to be held responsible for use of unfair means at centers and will ensure that no unwanted mob gathers near the centers.
Control Room is to remain activated from examination duration from 6 am to 9 am with contact number assigned. No student is to be allowed use and possession of books, pager, mobile, calculator with special focus during examination for Maths and English, stated the press statement released....
