PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 24 -- The body of a 24-year-old youth who had been missing since Thursday afternoon was found in bushes along the Tons river in the Nari Bari area of the trans-Yamuna region on Friday morning, police said. The deceased was a resident of Satpura village under Patiwar gram sabha. His family members had been searching for him since he went missing on Thursday. After failing to find him, they lodged a complaint at the Nari Bari police outpost on Thursday evening. His body was found in bushes along the river on Friday morning, causing panic in the area. Police reached the spot and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. The youth's motorcycle was also recovered about 400 metres from where his body was found, police said. Gaurav was the eldest of three brothers. He was pursuing his studies and staying with his sister in Rewa. Shankargarh station house officer Pritam Tiwari said the body had been sent for a post-mortem examination. The exact cause of death will be known after the report is received.
