LUCKNOW, May 11 -- Lucknow police on Sunday said they have traced and recovered a minor girl who had gone missing from a shelter home in the city in0 September 2022. The girl was recovered safely from Harijan Colony in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh after a prolonged search operation by the Lucknow Police Commissionerate. According to Naka police statement , the girl had gone missing from Shrimad Dayanand Bal Sadan, a child care institution located in Moti Nagar, on September 2, 2022. "A complaint regarding her disappearance was lodged at Naka Hindola Police Station by Ajay Prakash, minister for shelter home, following which a case under Section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code was registered," a press note stated. "Based on a specific input, the police team conducted a raid in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh and recovered the girl safely," a police official said.
