LUCKNOW, April 14 -- The annual middle and senior school prize day was organised by La Martiniere Girls' College on Monday. Vaibhavi Singh, among others, received recognition for their musical talents as they cleared their ABRSM exams with merit, which were conducted by the prominent Royal School of Music board. In sports, Swasti Chandra represented India in the World Table Tennis Youth Contender, while Tanvi excelled in shooting, winning a regional gold medal and silver at the SGFI Games, qualifying for the Indian Team Trials for which they were felicitated. Rianna Jessica Dass (Class 6), Sidra Fatima (Class 7) and Jasleen Kaur Sahota (Class 8) were awarded Best Student in their respective classes, while Hansuja Acharjya was awarded as the Best Student in Middle School. Rianna clinched the Most Promising Swimmer of the Year trophy and excelling in school activities across all domains she earned the Rising Star Scholarship. Prisha Agarwal, Yashasvi Anika Tandon, Shreyasi Jha and Yashasvi Saraf won Best Student of Class 9, 10, 11 and 12, respectively. The prestigious Lifetime Award was awarded to Madhu Joshi, while Shruti Tagore received the Extraordinary Service Award. The coveted Cock House Trophy went to Cornwallis House. Indu Shahani, president ATLAS SkillTech University and former Sheriff Mumbai was the chief guest on the occasion. She shared her life experiences, emphasising how courage, discipline, and determination can achieve remarkable things, and urged everyone to pursue their dreams despite challenges.
